Doing Death Differently – the 2022 Palliative Care Summit
We are delighted that Doing Death Differently – the 2022 Palliative Care Summit held on 24 November 2022 was such a success.
There are many people who made valuable contributions to the day. Our sincere thanks to Robyn Collard for the amazing Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, to our fabulous MC Di Darmody, who held the whole day together so well and kept us running on time. We really appreciate Simon Millman MLA, representing the Health Minister Amber Jade Sanderson, for taking the time to formally open the summit, and to Health Director General Dr David Russell-Weisz for his inspiring presentation.
We are particularly grateful to all the panel members and presenters for their time, effort and passion about their topics.
We also want to acknowledge the helpful folk at Optus Stadium and PAV Events for their assistance.
Thank you to our very generous sponsors and supporters and to the participants who attended. We really appreciate the excellent feedback from all involved – both informal and via the survey.
A Summit Report will is available HERE.
