Palliative Care WA is holding a series of online forums for members of the community over May and June 2020.  Each will aim to increase understanding of the topic as well as provide opportunity for people to get their questions answered by our experts.

All forums are FREE to attend but as numbers are limited, registration is essential. All registrants will be provided with a  Zoom log-in as well as some additional resources and tips to ensure they are well prepared for the session.

Topics covered in the forums include:

  • Understanding Palliative Care
  • Understanding Advance Care Planning
  • Understanding Grief and Loss
  • Understanding Compassionate Communities
  • Understanding Goals of Care

Some of these topics have 3 forums scheduled. The first one is suitable for the general community, and the other two are designed to provide safe space for some specific audiences – people with chronic disease or terminal illness, and the friends, family and carers for those people.
