Nominations for the Board of Palliative Care WA for 2026 are now now open
Nominations are now open for election to the Palliative Care WA Board for 2026. As the peak body for the palliative care sector across the State, Palliative Care WA is a member-based, not-for-profit organisation providing an independent and collective voice for palliative care.
We encourage and facilitate best practice, professional development and sector-wide collaborations aiming to strengthen the sector.
We also work to engage and empower the WA community and strengthen the public dialogue and understanding of advance care planning, palliative care, and grief and loss.
By becoming a member of the Palliative Care WA Board you have the chance to make a valuable contribution to our work with both the community and the palliative care, aged care and community services sectors to ensure access to quality palliative care services for all Western Australians.
In accordance with the Rules of Association, the ordinary business of the Annual General Meeting of the Association includes the election of the office holders and other Board members.
It is proposed to hold the Annual General Meeting of Palliative Care WA on Tuesday 9 December 2025.
Nominations are called for at least 42 days prior to the AGM under clause 31.1 being 28 October 2025.

Only members are eligible to be nominated for Board positions.
The nomination form is HERE. This is to be completed and received by the by 11 November 2025, which is 28 days before the proposed AGM as provided by the Rules of Association.
Return the completed and signed form to Palliative Care WA via one of the following methods:
Post or hand deliver to Palliative Care WA at 15 Bedbrook Place, Shenton Park WA 6012, OR scan and attach to an email sent to info@palliativecarewa.asn.au.
