The 2026 Palliative Care Summit will bring the sector together to share ideas, practical innovations, challenges, ethical considerations and diverse perspectives on how AI and technology can support better palliative care while keeping people, relationships and dignity at the centre.
Through thought-provoking keynotes, practical case studies and interactive discussions, discover what’s happening now, what’s on the horizon and what it could mean for the future of palliative care.
The Summit welcomes health and community professionals, students, researchers, volunteers, carers and anyone with an interest or connection to palliative care. Connect with others, discover new ideas and explore innovations that can support better outcomes for patients, families and the workforce.
Hear from leading voices across AI, technology, health, ageing and palliative care, including futurist and AI researcher Gihan Perera, intensive care specialist Associate Professor Charlie Corke AM, and internationally recognised ageing and technology researcher Professor Barbara Barbosa Neves.
The program also features experts from Curtin University, Cardiff University, King’s College London and PainChek, bringing diverse perspectives on how technology and AI can shape the future of compassionate care.
