25th May 2021

With National Reconciliation Week starting on Thursday 27 May, we are delighted to confirm that Palliative Care WA has submitted our draft Reconciliation Action Plan to Reconciliation Australia and are looking forward to receiving their feedback.

The PCWA team is excited to be taking our first steps on this important journey. With that in mind we are participating in the Walk for Reconciliation on Thursday 3 June and would like to invite our members and stakeholders to join with us in demonstrating our support for, and solidarity with, the reconciliation movement.  Organised by Reconciliation WA the walk commences at 12 noon at WA Museum Boola Bardip and finishes at Yagan Square.

Alternatively we encourage everyone to participate in one of the other many events happening throughout National Reconciliation Week such as the breakfast for leaders and allies on 28 May. You can search for an event near you here.

Our team is looking forward to supporting and making a contribution to the national reconciliation movement and building meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, communities and people.
