At our March CEO Roundtable for Palliative Care meeting, 22 representatives from organisations with an interest in palliative care met to discuss latest developments in palliative care in the State.
Topics discussed included the WA Law Reform Commission’s review of the Guardianship and Administration Act (GAA) and the new Aged Care Act giving greater emphasis to end-of-life (EoL) support.
Meeting twice a year, this group provides high level advice to government on palliative care issues in WA. The Roundtable provides opportunities for key stakeholders to engage in robust discussion and debate while maintaining strong and purposeful relationships between the sector and the government. Membership to the CEO Roundtable on Palliative Care in WA is by invitation.
