Two new workshops – one in person and one online – to help carers understand more about the caring journey, prepare for transitions in relationships and learn more about Advance Care Planning (ACP) documents, carer responsibilities and how ACP can assist carers have been developed by Palliative Care WA.
As well as discussing ways to care for your loved one, the our ‘Prepare for caring during palliative care’ workshops will explore how carers can care for themselves, identify next steps and your possible need for support. They will also look what to expect in the last days of life, and how to navigate grief and bereavement.
The workshops have been made possible through funding from Carers WA.
