Would you like to help improve palliative care services in WA?  If so, Perron Institute researchers would love to hear from you before 16 August 2020.

In response to the Joint Select Committee recommendation to review palliative care services in WA, researchers are currently seeking consumer feedback and would love to hear from patients and carers.  If you fall into one of the categories below, please complete the survey about your experiences at https://perroninstitute.org/consumer-perspectives-of-palliative-care

  • Current patients with a life-limiting illness
  • Family/friend carer of a person with a life-limiting illness
  • Family/friend carer of a person with a life-limiting illness who has died in the last five years (2015-2020)

With funding from the WA Department of Health, the review, led by Professor Samar Aoun at the Perron Institute will look at patient experiences and preferences on receiving palliative care and the perspectives of their families and carers.  The survey is open to people who have accessed palliative care as well as those who have not accessed palliative care or who unable to access palliative care.
