National Award Winners

Palliative Care Australia announced the winners of the National Palliative Care Awards at the recent Oceanic Palliative Care Conference.  With three of the 11 awards going to Western Australians, it was a strong acknowledgement of the excellent work and dedication found right across the sector, and across WA.

We would like to extend our sincere congratulations to:

• Dr Jonathan Ramachenderan from the WA Country Health Service Great Southern region, who won the Individual – Excellence in Generalist Palliative Care Award.
• Dr Paula Moffat from Bethesda Health Care, who won the Individual – Excellence in Palliative Care – Community Based Care Award.
• Robyn Ellis from West Australian Country Health Service Midwest Region, who won the Individual – Excellence in Palliative Care – Rural and Remote Award.
