Thanatologist Dr Margaret Sealey will be holding a monthly Grief Café on the first Friday of each month at Bodhi Tree Bookshop Cafe on the corner of Oxford Street and Scarborough Beach Road, Mount Hawthorn, where people can pop in and chat to others in a similar position.
Taking a compassionate communities approach, the Grief Café is a discussion group, not a grief support group or counselling session. Rather it is a relaxed place for people to share their experience of loss and learn from each other.
The Grief Cafe will run from 9.30am to 11am on the first Friday of each month including these dates:
