Do you work or volunteer in palliative care? We want to hear what you think!
National Workforce Survey
Survey closes at midnight on Sunday 11 August 2024
Palliative Care Australia has invested in a national survey targeted at those who work and volunteer in palliative care, known as the Survey of the National Palliative Care Workforce Across Health and Aged Care Settings.
The aim of the survey is to identify the challenges, barriers, and successes in delivering or accessing palliative care in a range of health settings – including primary health, aged care and specialist palliative care.
It’s important that we hear from a wide cross section of health professionals and volunteers – both those already delivering palliative care and those who want to.
It is equally important that responses come from across Australia – all states and territories, to enable a truly national picture and so that results can be broken down to a state and territory level.
Currently only eight per cent of responses so far have come from WA. It’s time to hear from you!
Completing the online survey takes between 10 and 20 minutes. The results are an important opportunity to empower our sector’s advocacy, policy development, and awareness raising on behalf of patients and their loved ones, at a national and local level.
We especially need responses from primary health, aged care, and volunteers.
