Death Cafe open to LGBTQI+ people and allies

September 6 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

LGBTQI+ people and allies are invited to a death cafe on Saturday 6 September at the Pride Centre, Northbridge.

To attend, please email eo@grai.org.au

Deathcafe.com is a worldwide movement started in London in 2010 by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid, based on the ideas of Swiss Sociologist Bernard Crettaz. The objective of the deathcafe.com movement is “to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives”.

Palliative Care WA recognises the importance of death cafes and their role in helping people increase their awareness of death and dying.

Of course, cake, tea or coffee always helps the conversation flow!
