Writing life and death together – workshop for writers and non-writers alike

Have you ever noticed that writing things down has the power to shift how you feel? Could putting words to some of life’s hardest moments help us get through them?
In their newly published book, How to Dress for Old Age, co-authors David Carlin and Peta Murray tell tender, funny and confronting stories of their personal friendship as they face their respective responsibilities to their ageing parents, and grapple with one big question: How to live meaningfully to the end?
This hands-on workshop led by Peta and David is designed for writers and non-writers alike. Participants will be gently guided through a series of steps to create short pieces that explore ideas, feelings and experiences of the lived realities of our shared mortality.
Peta and David have delivered many workshops together and specialise in creating an atmosphere of creative reciprocity and inclusive, imaginative play.
