Quarterly Palliative Care Forums

Palliative Care WA’s Quarterly Palliative Care Forums provide our members the opportunity to showcase the great work that is occurring in palliative care across Western Australia.

Our members include service providers, clinicians, practitioners, specialists, social workers, researchers, consumers, carers, volunteers and educators across health, aged care, disability, government and community sector organisations.

This ensures the forums are a great opportunity to network with peers and colleagues from the palliative care sector, and other allied sectors with common interests.

Each forum is focussed on topics of interest within the sector and the community, showcasing best practice and demonstration projects that are leading the way locally and often nationally. They provide a great opportunity for informal learning, as well as recognition for local professionals and organisations that are excelling across the sector.

Past topics have included:

  • Launch of updated Palliative Caring Booklet.
  • Using data to achieve better health outcomes
  • Pathways to palliative care
  • Making the most of membership
  • My Health Record

PCWA members attend forums for free, while non-members are charged a fee.
