Palliative Care WA Forum Series: #2 Advance Care Planning
Palliative Care WA Forum Series: WA End of Life Choices Parliamentary Committee Report
Forum Two – Advance Care Planning
The WA Parliament’s Joint Select Committee on End of Life Choices released their report on 23 August and Palliative Care WA hosted a special forum on 28 August to discuss the findings and recommendations. The EOL Report focused on three key areas of care at end of life – advance care planning, palliative care services, and voluntary assisted dying.
Palliative Care WA and Palliative and Supportive Care Education are holding a series of three forums to explore the recommendations in detail and identify sector priorities for presentation to the WA Government. Each forum will explore a different section of the report. This forum will focus on recommendations 1-6 (advance care planning).
