This process is called Advance Care Planning. \nThis workshop will cover information on what is involved in Advance Care Planning\, how to get started\, and how to talk with your loved ones about your end-of-life wishes. It is a practical and interactive workshop where you will have the chance to get your questions answered. \nWho is this for? \nThis workshop is for anyone in the Busselton Community. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 5 April 2023\n10.00am to 11.30am\nMy Future Care – online community workshop\nWe all want to have a say in what happens in the last part of our lives. By making plans that cover our care\, lifestyle\, health and finances\, we work out what we want\, as well as making things easier on those around us. This process is called Advance Care Planning. \nThis online workshop will cover information on what is involved in Advance Care Planning\, how to get started\, and how to talk with your loved ones about your end-of-life wishes. It is a practical and interactive workshop where you will have the chance to get your questions answered. \nWho is this for? \nThis online workshop is suitable for any community members regardless of age\, health or background. You don’t need any prior knowledge of Advance Care Planning to take part. \nThanks to funding from the WA Department of Health\, our workshops are free for anyone living in Western Australia. There is a fee for community members from elsewhere in Australia. We are not able to offer these workshops to international participants. \nRegistration information \n\nRegistrations are essential and can be made on Eventbrite\nAfter you register we will send you a resource pack that you need to participate in the workshop.\nIf you register by Wednesday 29 March we will post you the resource pack. If you live in regional or remote areas of WA we recommend you registering as soon as possible to give extra time for the resource pack to reach you. DESCRIPTION:‘Palliative care volunteering – A crucial piece of the jigsaw’\, a free Palliative Care WA consultation event on Tuesday 4 April 2023 at Mt Lawley Golf Club from 9.00am to 3.00pm is open for registrations. \nThis interesting and engaging event will identify existing and emerging palliative care volunteering opportunities across the State and invite input into the development of a strategic plan to progress palliative care volunteering in WA.
