A geriatrician practising at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital in northern Sydney and at Batemans Bay Hospital in southern NSW, Professor Kurrle’s research and practice interests centre on dementia and frailty, successful ageing, and improving care for older people in residential care.

Many of you may remember Professor Kurrle from her involvement as medical adviser and commentator for the award-winning ABC documentary series Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds which aired last year. She has been working on implementing a similar model of care in residential aged care facilities and community centres across Australia.

A Q&A session will follow Professor Kurrle’s presentation. For those unable to participate, Professor Kurrle’s presentation will be uploaded to our website after the forum.
