Make sure you come with an open mind and be prepared to talk about\, and even laugh at\, something that will eventually come to us all. \nQuiz hosts\nBorn and bred in the sunny west\, Bamboozled Quizmasters have been bamboozling the fine folks of Western Australia for years. Their Perth-based team is full of fantastic entertainers and people passionate about putting on great events all year round. This process is called Advance Care Planning. \nThis online workshop will cover information on what is involved in Advance Care Planning\, how to get started\, and how to talk with your loved ones about your end-of-life wishes. It is a practical and interactive workshop where you will have the chance to get your questions answered. \nWho is this for? \nThis is one of our ‘safe space’ workshops. It is only open to people with a chronic condition or terminal illness\, as well as those who care for family or friends with a chronic condition or terminal illness. \nWhile the core information on Advance Care Planning that is covered is the same as other workshops that we run\, we recognise that some people will feel more comfortable sharing questions and concerns with those in similar circumstances … within a ‘safe space’. \nWe respectfully ask anyone who does not fit into this group\, to not register for this workshop. \nThanks to funding from the WA Department of Health\, our workshops are free for anyone living in Western Australia. There is a fee for community members from elsewhere in Australia. DESCRIPTION:Join us at our Cup Half Full – Grief Café during National Palliative Care Week on 14 May 2026 at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre. \nThe café will run from 10.00am to 12.00pm and welcomes people to share about loss and grief over coffee and cake in a safe space to talk and listen. \nThe café will be facilitated by Sabena Lund\, who has training and experience in holding group spaces and conversations. \nTea\, coffee and morning tea provided. \nAll welcome to attend. SUMMARY:My Future Care – Advance Care Planning Online Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We all want to have a say in what happens in the last part of our lives. By making plans that cover our care\, lifestyle\, health and finances\, we work out what we want\, as well as making things easier on those around us. This process is called Advance Care Planning. \nThis online workshop will cover information on what is involved in Advance Care Planning\, how to get started\, and how to talk with your loved ones about your end-of-life wishes. It is a practical and interactive workshop where you will have the chance to get your questions answered. \nWho is this for? \nThis online workshop is suitable for any community members regardless of age\, health or background. You don’t need any prior knowledge of Advance Care Planning to take part. \nThanks to funding from the WA Department of Health\, our workshops are free for anyone living in Western Australia. There is a fee for community members from elsewhere in Australia.
